Compete in Steel Plate Shooting Challenge on Aug. 12

Celebrate National Shooting Sports Month at the range, with some friendly competition! We will be holding a Steel Plate Shooting Challenge at Platte River State Park on Aug. 12, and anyone ages 16 and older is invited to participate.

The competition is based on accuracy and speed combined to shoot five targets using .22 handguns or rifles. All equipment is provided, and shooting experience is preferred but not required, with expert instructors on hand to help out novices. Join us for a fun morning on the range, and sign up today!

Youth can compete in Smallbore Silhouette Invitational

Calling all young shooters! Come compete in the longest running organized youth shooting event in the state, the Nebraska Youth Smallbore Silhouette Invitational.

Mark your calendars for this free competition on Sept. 30 at Pressey Wildlife Management Area, located 17 miles south of Broken Bow. The competition is open to all youth ages 11 or older who have successfully completed Hunter Education and who have not yet graduated from high school.
