ADL Announces Formation of J7 Task Force Against Antisemitism | |
In response to increasing rates of antisemitism around the world, ADL announced the formation of the J7, the Large Communities’ Task Force Against Antisemitism, encompassing Jewish organizations in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Argentina and Australia. The announcement received significant coverage by media outlets around the world.
The J7 will provide a forum for major Jewish communities around the world to discuss common challenges in fighting antisemitism, share best practices and develop coordinated strategies. It will organize a number of working groups comprised of subject matter experts from each community to develop strategies and action plans within areas such as policy and advocacy, security, extremism, and education against antisemitism.

ADL Attends Israeli President Herzog’s Joint Congressional Address

ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt attended a historic joint session of Congress featuring Israeli President Isaac Herzog, who was invited to speak in honor of Israel's 75th birthday and 75 years of ties between the US and Israel.

Jonathan also joined ADL leaders and staff for a special Jewish communal event with President Herzog, who commended ADL for its work in fighting antisemitism and hate, and spoke about the importance of the US-Israel relationship and the ties between the Jewish community and Israel. |

In response to the Israeli government passing the so-called Reasonableness Law, ADL expressed deep disappointment by the government’s failure to reach a compromise rooted in a broad societal consensus. ADL had
previously raised concerns about this bill and alarm about the growing incendiary rhetoric surrounding the judicial overhaul and related protests.

In the first half of 2023, ADL delivered 20 Words To Actions trainings across Europe, training 337 Jewish teens, students, and young adults. Since 2022, ADL has delivered 71 trainings, providing tools to fight antisemitism to over a thousand young Jews across 17 countries.
