We’re here to talk about Republicans’ most recent voter suppression attempt in Georgia, what Fair Fight’s doing about it right now, and how you can help.

First: Brad Raffensperger, the Georgia Secretary of State, announced that he plans to cancel over 191,000 voter registrations on August 13. This is a continuation of Georgia Republicans’ shameful tradition of mass voter purges between election cycles, dating back to 2017. It’s a scheme to silence and disenfranchise voters — especially voters of color. Next: The Fair Fight team once again jumped into action. We quickly mobilized by launching an organizing effort to call and text tens of thousands of voters ahead of the August 13 deadline. As you read this, we’re ensuring they have the information and resources they need to stop their voter registrations from being canceled.
