You and your neighbors are invited to attend my Afghanistan Gold Star Families Public Hearing in Escondido next Monday, August 7 at 10 am.
For the first time ever, Congress will officially hear from the mothers, fathers, and close family of the 13 U.S. servicemembers killed in the 2021 Afghanistan withdrawal. We have expanded the free RSVP availability for the event, and you can confirm your attendance here. RSVP is encouraged, but not required. I hope to see you there to hear the stories of these heroes and show our community’s support for their patriotic service and sacrifice.
