Couple things here as we start August:

First, thank you so much for your support last month. We accomplished a TON, and couldn’t have done it without you.

Second, an important deadline for Veterans is approaching.

The PACT Act deadline for receiving retroactive benefits hits on August 9th, just eight days from now.

What that means is, if you are a Gulf War or Vietnam Veteran, or a post 9/11 Veteran, and may have a condition related to toxic exposure, you should file a claim – OR submit your intent to file a claim – asap.

There are a number of reputable Veteran Service Organizations that will assist you with your claim, among them the VFW and Disabled American Veterans. If you contact any of them they’ll be able to help you out.

And if you need further help or have questions, feel free to respond to this email. We’ll try to get you the answers you need.

We worked incredibly hard to get this coverage, so it’s important that you take advantage of it. Too many Veterans didn’t get the chance.
