I just wanted to send a quick message to say thank you to all the incredible friends who came out for Saddam's Campaign Kick-Off last weekend.

When we started this campaign, it was just a handful of people and a big dream about what the future of Virginia could look like. Fast forward seven months later, and so many incredible people all came together to celebrate our victory - not gonna lie, we got emotional about how far we've come.

And we know every single one of you helped us do this - your contributions, no matter how large or small, got us to that finish line together. We are all truly honored that you believed in us and don't you worry - Team Salim is just getting started!

But first things first: we've got another election to win!

So, I wanted to invite you to two events coming up soon - the first is a fundraiser this coming Saturday at Mayor Catherine Read & Tom Greeson's house in City of Fairfax. Details are below. You can purchase a ticket here or RSVP and buy a ticket at the door. Come out and enjoy a beautiful summer night in the City of Fairfax!

Our very first canvass launch is on August 26th from 10-12. Join us in Providence District to help get out of the vote for Democrats. Sign up here and bring a friend! We will have a postcard writing station, refreshments, information on all our incredible candidates and some special guests!
