Congress could cut funding for critical child programs, putting kids’ futures at risk. Will you speak up to protect them? [[link removed]]

Friend,
Remember how worried we were when Congress agreed to increase federal spending by just 1%?
When you account for inflation, that means programs will actually have less funding for the next two years — and now, lawmakers are talking about even more cuts.
Devastatingly, child care and early learning made the list.
Kids across the U.S. could miss out on life-changing support — unless we fight to protect it. [[link removed]]
Friend, if Congress goes through with these cuts, hundreds of thousands of families will face the consequences.
The latest proposal would prevent 80,000 children from accessing Head Start programs — ripping a critical safety net from kids in low-income communities. Without learning opportunities from birth to age 5, they’d start school at a big disadvantage.
Other programs would be eliminated entirely, like ones that improve and expand preschool and help parents afford child care while attending college .
So please, Friend, send a message: Budget cuts shouldn’t compromise kids’ futures. [[link removed]]
Thanks for being a voice for kids,
