Thank you so much for helping us reach our end-of-July goals. You’ve helped us take a huge step closer to electing Democrats in important races across the state, including ousting Lauren Boebert from office.

And today, on Colorado Day, we wanted to celebrate by sharing with you some fun facts about our great state with you!

Colorado actually has 697 sides, not just 4!
The cheeseburger was invented in Denver.
The 13th step of the State Capitol building in Denver is exactly one mile above sea level.
Colorado once had three Governors in a single day.
The world's first rodeo was held on July 4, 1869, in Deer Trail.
Colorado became a state in 1876, 100 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Denver is the only city to have turned down hosting the Olympic Games.
The name Colorado means “colored red.”
The first teddy bear was created in Colorado.
Doc Holliday died in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
