Climate change is impacting water patterns across the country. Everything from flooding and droughts to decreased reserves of fresh, clean water are consequences of these changing patterns. Sustainable water management is crucial to building the resilience of farms, communities and ecosystems, and to reducing carbon emissions. Everyone has a role to play; actions at the individual, household and farm levels are all vital! Speaking of water, the recent storms that ravaged the Northeast left a wake of ruined crops, perished livestock and destroyed equipment for the region’s farmers and ranchers.
