Hello John xxxxxx,
It is my pleasure to invite you to
join Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., for a free, online Roundtable on
Transforming Food, Farming, and Soil Policy this Thursday, August 3 at
8pm EST / 5pm PST.
Agriculture provides a pathway to
human and global planetary health. Our wild and working
landscapes–when stewarded harmoniously–provide oxygen and nutrient
dense food, sequester carbon, and regulate the hydrological cycle
which is earth’s air conditioning system, essential for climate
resilience and mitigation.
America has much of the best
agricultural soil on earth. Farmers and agriculture are a country’s
economic backbone and yet they are struggling. For decades, America's
farmers have been devastated by policies that have driven up farm debt
and increased their vulnerability to climate change.
Fortunately, a new generation of
farmers is focused on working with nature by rebuilding their soils
using regenerative practices that increase biodiversity, improve their
resilience to drought and floods, and increase on-farm
profits.
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., is making
agricultural policy a top priority to turn our nation's farms
around. How will he do that? He'll start by learning from
some of America's most innovative farmers–and you can join him in this
learning.
Join
us live on August 3 for Mr. Kennedy in conversation
with Ben Dobson of Hudson Carbon in New York,
Reginaldo Haslett-Marroquin of Tree Range Farms, Inc.
in Minnesota, John Kempf of Advancing Eco Agriculture
of Ohio, Bob Quinn of Quinn Farm & Ranch in
Montana, Judith McGeary of Farm & Ranch Freedom
Alliance in Texas, Will Harris of White Oak Pastures
in Georgia, Gail Fuller of Fuller Farms in
Kansas, Kerry Hoffschneider of The Graze Master Group
in Nebraska, and Wayne Swanson of Swanson Family Farm
in Georgia.
Together we will hear stories of
heartbreak and success, loss and regeneration, as Mr. Kennedy charts a
course for the revitalization of farming in America.
Land stewardship and farming hold
the key to human and ecological security and a livable planet. Learn
the exciting ways in which we can save ourselves while developing
policies that support farmers.
Please
RSVP, mark your calendars, and join us LIVE
on Thursday, August 3 at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST for this inspiring
conversation!
If you know someone passionate
about farming, regenerative agriculture, or sustainable and healthy
food, please share this email with them and encourage them to attend
the online event!
I look forward to seeing you and
your friends on Thursday!
