Are your lawmakers working towards a safer Pennsylvania, free from gun violence—or are they following the demands of the gun lobby?
Today, we are releasing our Gun Safety Scorecard which rates Pennsylvania lawmakers based on their voting record on key gun safety related bills over the current legislative session. Find out how your representatives voted on gun laws this year by checking out our Scorecard now:
More than 1,900 Pennsylvanians died from gun violence last year.1 Their lives demand action to end the trafficking flooding our communities with firearms. To ensure guns are secured so kids' lives aren’t taken. To give life-saving tools when a family member is in crisis. And some of our representatives are taking action to address gun violence and save lives in our Commonwealth.
The movement to end gun violence needs legislative support and so we are holding lawmakers accountable for their failure to support gun safety, and lifting up those that champion gun safety legislation.
