The decision was purely political – Trump even admitted it himself! – and set a dangerous precedent that put partisan politics before national security.

So, over the last two and a half years, John Hickenlooper has been working diligently to make the case for Colorado – and for our national security. We’ve seen John’s leadership engaging with the White House and senior military officials, including the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of the Air Force, to argue against Trump’s political basing decision.

And yesterday, the Biden Administration announced it was going to keep Space Command in Colorado!

But it wasn’t just John. You helped make this happen by sending someone to the Senate who would do what was right instead of politically convenient. Elections matter and you made your vote count.

The fact is, every objective analysis concluded that Peterson Space Force Base is the best home for Space Command. It’s in the nation’s best interest, plain and simple.
