📍CLINTON GLOBAL INITIATIVE
The Road to September

President Bill Clinton, Secretary Hillary Clinton, and Chelsea Clinton are bringing leaders together at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) 2023 Meeting to tackle the world’s most pressing challenges. Their message: “Keep going.” This year’s meeting will focus on what it takes to keep going while building on more than 3,900 Commitments to Action™ — specific, measurable programs that address a pressing global challenge — including climate resilience, inclusive economic growth, health equity, and the global refugee crisis.

In recent weeks, CGI brought leaders together for six events across four continents to take action. Here's what you may have missed:

President Clinton met with public and private sector leaders in Sofia, Bulgaria to discuss advancing solutions on food security, climate, and gender equity. We caught up with climate activist and CGI member Craig Cohon while we were there. Watch his inspiring message.

Chelsea Clinton led a conversation with leaders in Tel Aviv to explore examples of how technology and partnerships have helped them expand their work. Participants also shared lessons in entrepreneurship, innovation, and impact.

Storytellers addressed gun violence, health inequity, and the plight of Iranian women and girls. Leaders met in New York City for Story Studio, special CGI programming that seeks to harness the power of storytelling to ignite social change.

Leaders in Latin America and the Caribbean gathered to address issues at the health-climate nexus. Leaders called for a hyper-local, multi-generational approach that empowers communities and prepares them to be self-sustaining and resilient for the unforeseen future.
