John, can I have your attention for just a second?
Our books for the month close at midnight, and last time I checked in with my team here at The Collective PAC — we were still 18% away from reaching our goal. At this point — every dollar counts.
Now I know you’re probably getting a lot of emails right now, all asking you for donations. And you’re probably wondering: "What will you do with the money if I donate?" That’s a fair question, John!
So let’s talk about it.
In 2022, we endorsed 187 candidates on the Nov. 8th ballot — and that doesn’t just mean saying we endorsed them, we put our money where our mouth is and support them financially.
And with high stakes elections coming up THIS November for candidates all across the country — from Pam Stevenson (Attorney General, KY), Shawn Wilson (Governor, Louisiana), and Sheila Jackson Lee (Mayor of Houston) — we can’t wait until 2024 to help fund their races.
These candidates need our support NOW, John. And that’s why we’re asking for yours.
Focusing on local elections is KEY to addressing the underrepresentation of the Black community in elected offices. Will you help us support our endorsed candidates across the country by donating $10 today?
