As we close July and head into the dog days of summer, we’re looking forward to the next few weeks. Here’s what’s on our radar:

• Congress is in recess until Labor Day. Members of Congress like Gabe will be home, meeting with constituents and planning legislation for the fall.
• Gabe will be back in NM-02. His focus? Speaking directly to constituents and farmers to hear what you need in the Farm Bill when Congress goes back into session in September.
• It’s Gabe’s birthday this week! (More on that later!)

But before we get too far ahead of ourselves, we need to make one more ask of you — our strongest supporters — before we close the books on July.
