Hey folks,

I wanted to reach out one last time before the month ends to give you some important updates on our race.

We're just over three months out from Election Day, and this race is still tight. A Republican poll shows us within the margin of error against my McConnell-protégé opponent.

I can't say I'm surprised – we always knew this would be tough. I won in 2019 by just over 5,000 votes, and election experts have called this the most competitive race in the country this year!

Look – if we're going to win in November and continue making progress for Kentucky, I need you by my side. Outside groups have spent nearly four million dollars on TV ads to attack me. They're lying to Kentuckians about my record in order to help my opponent win – one of their ads was even so offensive and vile it was initially flagged by YouTube for hate speech.

We need to ensure we have the resources to fight back and reach Kentuckians in every corner of the Commonwealth – and that starts with finishing July on a strong note.
