Since 2017, we’ve worked hard to restore trust between MCSO and the community we serve. One initiative I'm especially proud of is our Pathways to Justice program.

Pathways to Justice is a collaborative effort led by MCSO, in partnership with the Phoenix Police Department (PPD) and the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS), to engage young adults in careers in public safety.

The program provides an opportunity for students from low-income neighborhoods to get involved with local government and learn about careers in public service while building relationships with first responders, detention, and civilian staff members. These developing relationships will benefit the youth and our employees as we build community and restore trust.

Programs like this help community members and MCSO deputies connect with one another, making Maricopa County stronger and safer.

We are also proud to help build the future of our community's public safety and law enforcement officers, first responders, and civil servants.
