You'll help drive our urgent mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
With your help as our newest supporter, we will not rest until everyone can count on the same coverage for Alzheimer's treatments as they do for other diseases, while continuing to drive research and provide the care and support so many need.
Thank you for your partnership in the fight to end Alzheimer's. Your new commitment as a supporter means so much to our community and our cause. A healthier tomorrow starts with YOU. Make these last few hours before our deadline really count.
Sincerely,
Donna McCullough

Dear Friend,
We're down to the final hours of our 2023 Summer Annual Fund Drive. It ends at midnight tonight, and I need your help. Today is your last chance to be a part of it and make a powerful gift that will help advance our vital work year-round.
This is an exciting time in which more promising treatments and potential therapies for early Alzheimer's disease are emerging from research. With the help of friends like you, we are changing the trajectory of this disease in a meaningful way. Right now, additional clinical trials are underway and offer the hope that new treatments will become available with a life-changing impact.
No two treatments are the same, as they act differently in the brain, but just think of the potential impact treatment can offer someone living with early Alzheimer's. It can mean more days enjoying loved ones, more meaningful conversations, more family gatherings, more health and happiness.
The work we do here at the Alzheimer's Association happens because of dedicated friends like you. I thank you for your strong interest in our work. It inspires us to keep up the fight to end this devastating disease that kills more people than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined. Before the clock strikes midnight, please join our 2023 Summer Annual Fund Drive and make your first gift of $16 or more to help accelerate vital research and provide care and support to those living with Alzheimer's or another dementia.
Friend, we must make this summer count — we must make this day count — in advancing our urgent mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. And for that, we need you.
Everyone can be at risk of Alzheimer's. But not everyone understands the urgency of our fight. Because you joined our Alzheimer's Association community, I know you do.
You have shown, through your strong interest in our work, that you realize we must do all we can, each and every day, to provide care and support, to accelerate research, including clinical trials going on now and to advocate for access to treatment.
No one should face Alzheimer's alone. An Alzheimer's diagnosis can be scary, but people must know that help is available — and there is hope.
There are Food and Drug Administration-approved treatments available that could meaningfully change the course of this disease for people living with early Alzheimer's. We are fighting to ensure access for everyone who will benefit from these and emerging treatments, and we need you to join us.
Your first gift to our 2023 Summer Annual Fund Drive now ensures we can:
- Provide free resources to the millions of Americans affected by Alzheimer's, from our free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900) to our website at alz.org to our education programs and support groups.
- Lead the global effort to eliminate Alzheimer's by bringing researchers together to accelerate the pace of discovery toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure.
- Increase access to a timely diagnosis and quality care through health systems and community-based providers and improving treatment for everyone.
With you by our side, the Alzheimer's Association will continue making great strides toward our goal: Drive breakthrough research and make sure everyone has access to early detection and accurate diagnosis, treatment, and care and support.
Thank you for your belief in our work. I urge you to make your first gift to our 2023 Summer Annual Fund Drive before the midnight deadline.
Often, we think of summer as a time for relaxing and spending time with friends and family. But summer must also be a time for action. Alzheimer's is the fight of our lives, and we can't give up until there is a cure. You only have until midnight tonight to make your first gift to our 2023 Summer Annual Fund Drive. Please take action now. Thank you.
With gratitude,
Donna McCullough
Chief Mission and Field Operations Officer
P.S. You know that research can't — and won't — stop for summer. Neither can our efforts to provide care and support. Our 2023 Summer Annual Fund Drive ends at midnight, so please don't delay with your first gift today. Thank you very much.
