It's the last day of July, so you know what that means, John – I'm doing a final check on our fundraising for the month! You can keep reading, or you can pitch in $5 (or more) before midnight.
I'm going to be honest with you: Brian Fitzpatrick has a nearly $3 million war chest to defend this seat.
But when I looked at his Q2 fundraising report, I also noticed that half of Fitzpatrick's money last quarter came from special interests. This is what politics as usual looks like: Politicians take money from corporate PACs, then pass laws that make Wall Street richer and Main Street poorer, and the cycle repeats itself.
That's why Ashley isn't taking a single solitary cent from any corporate PACs. She's committed to being a voice for the working families and small businesses of PA-01.
Of course, that means it's also harder to raise money because we're doing it by $5 and $50 and $100 at a time rather than $5,000. Which is why I'm reaching out.
We're proud of this being a campaign of, by, and for working people – not corporations. But that means we rely on you support to pay for ads, a field program, and all the things it takes to build a winning campaign. So I have to ask, can you please pitch in before midnight?
