![]() Less than 24 hours. That was all it took for America to witness another mass shooting. Today, we will hear Republican lawmakers offer their thoughts and prayers. They will say we shouldn't politicize the issue. And they will tell us that now is not the time to figure out how to end our nation's epidemic of gun violence. But make no mistake, John. The bloodshed we saw in El Paso and Dayton this weekend was not inevitable. We must stop pretending that we are powerless to prevent these tragedies. We must come together and do everything in our power to prevent these tragedies from happening -- again and again. This must end. We must act. Enough is enough. Tom Tom Perez P.S.
