Tonight is another important deadline for our team, so I’m writing to you to ask for your help one last time this month.

And the reason I am doing that is because the stakes for the 2024 elections could not be higher.  We have just witnessed in the month of July the chaos and cruelty of House Republican policies and politics: from the National Defense Authorization bill, where Republicans added provisions to prohibit women service members from getting reproductive health care they need, to the annual appropriations process, where House Republicans directed massive cuts to programs that working families are counting on, like child care, education, health care, job training, and even public safety. 

This month’s events have made some things even more clear: We simply have to defend this seat in 2024, win back the House, keep the Senate, and re-elect President Biden. 

And you know by now that doing all that will require a lot of money—for us and for others to run strong, winning campaigns.  That is what we have to do.

And that’s why I’m so grateful to everyone on #TeamLizzie for all you’ve done—including the many generous contributions we’ve received ahead of our deadline tonight—and all I know you will do between now and next year. 

Your support makes all of this possible.  As we wrap up this telling month, any contributions you and others can make before the end of the day will help us as we do the important work we must in 2024.
