Unlike traditional candidate campaigns, there are no “off years” for ballot measures. These measures can be voted on during primary elections, general elections, and even in special elections like the one in Ohio next week. We cannot rest now, and we must be fully prepared to protect voters’ access to direct democracy.

Currently, we are working closely with our state partners to help protect Ohio voters from a cowardly attempt to weaken the power of ballot measures ahead of a vote on abortion access later this year. Additionally, we are gearing up to fight for permanent protections for reproductive health care services, including abortion, in other states across the U.S., where similar bans are becoming increasingly prevalent.

The success of these campaigns depends directly on the amount we can fundraise each year. Your contribution will help determine the number of campaigns we can support and the impact we can make on critical issues.
