Friend—We’re at another end-of-month deadline, and I’m pleased to announce that this has been a huge month for our campaign!

We’ve raised more than our past two months combined, brought in twice as many new donors as in June, ran a blowout community fundraiser, and solidified our footing as the people-first, bottom-up campaign to beat in CA-30.

But with 100% small-dollar, grassroots donations, we still have a ways to go before we catch up to our corporate-funded, conservative opponents. Let’s show them what people-power can accomplish—make a contribution now to help us keep taking this campaign to new levels!

I’d like to thank my team’s support on this campaign so far. We’d never have gotten this far without them. Most of them are still volunteers, including my illustrious campaign manager. I’d love to be able to pay them as staff members in the next few months, but that means we’ll have to step our fundraising to a new level.

Regardless of how much money we raise, this campaign received over 60,000 votes in 2022 and remains a frontrunner in this race. If all those people voted for me again, we would easily win this primary.

We just need your help to spread the word, cut through the noise (18 declared candidates!) and remind them of who we are and what we stand for. Housing, healthcare, environmental justice for all—these are things everyone can agree on.
