Dear Friend,

We are currently engaged in a war: a war on memory. So many of our fellow citizens are unaware of our past or have heard a skewed version of our history. That’s why The Feulner Institute’s B. Kenneth Simon Center for American Studies decided to produce a series of videos on, " <[link removed]>America and the Struggle for Freedom" <[link removed]> to tell the true story of the great "experiment in self-government."      These short documentaries unpack the
theme of freedom in Western civilization, culminating in the founding of America. We discuss how American democracy grew out of the classical-Christian tradition, how exceptional the American Revolution was in world history, and how the Founding Fathers produced what would become the most enduring and successful written Constitution in the world.       I invite you to view these videos <[link removed]> on the Simon Center website.       Sincerely,   Joseph Loconte, Ph.D.   Director, B. Kenneth Simon Center for American Studies and AWC Family  Foundation Fellow   The Heritage
Foundation
