New rules to reduce carbon emissions from existing and new power plants are being proposed by the EPA, and the public has a short period of time to comment. We need to make our voices heard.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) must finalize the strongest possible rules that truly match the urgency of addressing the climate crisis and engage with the communities that will be most impacted by these regulations. 

By sending a message to your lawmakers, you will be supporting the push for robust limits on carbon pollution from power plants and ensuring a healthier environment for all Pennsylvanians. Act now: tell the EPA to commit to the strongest possible pollution standards! 

The climate crisis is causing record rainfalls that are claiming lives due to floods. It's creating these heat waves that are robbing our kids of time outdoors and creating dangerous situations for folks who are vulnerable or who can't afford air conditioning. And climate change is fueling the wildfires that have polluted our air. 

Clean air, improved public health, and a more sustainable climate are within reach if we take action now. 

Supporting this petition will help us oppose actions that are inconsistent with our climate and justice goals, including the exploitation of carbon capture which expands fossil fuel infrastructure, extraction, processing, and use.
