billion in profit in the first quarter of 2023 alone^1 — this could fully
electrify an estimated 55 million rural households without energy and grid
access.^2

The coal, oil and gas giants would have us think that there can be no
world free from Shell, BP, and Exxon. If we lose hope for a better
tomorrow, they win.

But we know better. Across the planet, people are already leading the way
towards a clean, just, renewable world. We’re ready to build that future
from the ground up. We have the solutions — now it’s time to Power. Them.

That’s why we’re launching Global Power Up, a day of action like nothing
we’ve ever tried before. Together, we’ll show everyone a world where cheap
renewable energy powers up our communities. The money is there to pay for
it — in the obscene profits Shell, Exxon, Total, and BP have been making
for decades, while destroying our planet to fuel their greed. It’s time we
take it.
