It's been a long, sweltering July!

At the start of the month, I shared my hopefulness, as this is perhaps my favorite time of the year with Patriotism on full display.

The American flag...

That beautiful symbol waving proudly in the wind...

It sums up the very essence of our nation - displaying both nationalism and rebellion and every shade of meaning in between. Its history echoes the story of America itself - the struggles, triumphs, and unyielding spirit of the American people.

John, today our country stands divided, torn apart by radical leftism that seeks to pit us against one another, sowing seeds of discord so deeply that we often forget how much we truly share as Americans.

But I remember what unites us, and I hope you do, too.

We are bound by a common dream of freedom, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness - a shared bond strengthened by the symbol of our unity, the American flag!

Deep within each and every one of us lies the power to carry the flag, not just on designated days, but EVERY SINGLE DAY. As we embrace its colors, I urge you to pass the flag to your families, friends, and neighbors, uniting them in a shared commitment to this great land we call home.

I must be honest, John, the challenges we face demand unwavering dedication and resources.

We need every able patriot to join hands with us and contribute whatever they can to help us carry on this fight for our beloved nation. Our battle is tougher than ever, and the stakes have never been higher.
