Friend, do you feel frustrated when Republican officeholders abandon Pro-Life values?
Do you believe the Republican Party should do more to end abortion and euthanasia?
You can help pass a strong Pro-Life Republican Party Platform and hold our party leaders accountable by becoming a Pro-Life delegate to the Republican Party conventions. Delegates are grassroots activists like you who participate in shaping the role, direction, and platform of the Republican Party. Delegates volunteer to engage at their precinct, county or Senate district, or state convention. The state convention will take place in Houston May 14-16, 2020.
Why be a delegate to a local or state Republican convention?
Texas Republicans like you define their principles and beliefs in the state party platform and instruct party leadership at these conventions. This is a critical meeting for the Texas Pro-Life movement since the Republican Party of Texas is the only statewide political party that recognizes the personhood of preborn children and the injustice of elective abortion.
Who is eligible to attend a local or state Republican convention?
Anyone who is a registered voter and has either voted in the Republican Primary Election or is willing to take an oath of affiliation, can attend their local conventions (precinct and Senate district convention) and be a delegate to the state convention.
What is a delegate?
Delegates are grassroots activists like you who participate in shaping the role, direction, and platform of the Republican Party. Delegates introduce Pro-Life resolutions and volunteer to attend the Republican state convention, but delegates must be chosen or elected by the Republican Party of their local county or at the Senate district conventions.
When?
The first conventions are at your local precinct after the Republican Primary Election (March 3, 2020). Exact dates and details depend on your local Republican Party. Once you sign up for more information, we will send you specific details about the time and location of your precinct convention.
