Let’s start with the most exciting news first: the FDA has approved the first over-the-counter birth control pill in the US, Opill! 🎉🎉🎉

I had the privilege of testifying before the FDA advisory committee in support of Opill alongside four fellow PRH doctors, young people, and experts – and I am elated to see access to birth control increase for so many communities. While access to over-the-counter contraception is not a magic bullet in this shifting landscape, it is a critical step as we work to broaden access to comprehensive reproductive health care.
