$1,500 is how much, on average, a senior on Medicare who needs insulin will save annually because of the $35 cap on insulin passed in the Inflation Reduction Act.
That is why I do this job. I fiercely believe in enacting change that improves the quality of life for the people I serve. I know it’s just one step in making healthcare accessible and affordable, but to the 6,000 people in my district who require insulin to survive, it’s a significant breakthrough.
