BUT AS I WRITE THIS: the NIH is also about to fund electric shock experiments on twenty-five (x25) more cats at Duke. That’s tonight!!
PROBLEM: Right now, we don’t have enough money to sustain both campaigns. 7+25=32 cats.
SOLUTION: We simply need more donations. Just $5—only 15¢ per kitten!—will close the gap and help save all thirty-two cats.

This coming Monday at midnight is a life-saving deadline. Here’s what you need to know:
- On July 11th, we exposed that the Dept. of Veterans Affairs recently approved funding for a new painful experiment on 7 kittens.
But the white coats haven’t purchased the kittens yet. So we launched a campaign to block the purchase, cancel the tests, and save all 7 kittens.
- Two days ago, our research team discovered A SECOND taxpayer-funded cat lab. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) may grant additional funding for deadly electric-shock experiments on cats at Duke University on July 31st (just two days away.)
If we don’t block the payout before the funding deadline, 25 more cats could die.
- The VA and the NIH are two of the largest agencies in the U.S. government. White Coat Waste Project (WCW) is a small nonprofit. We’re David… they’re Goliath.
Right now, we just don’t have the resources to sustain both rapid response campaigns.
Taxpayer, if we can’t raise another $21,000 before midnight Monday, we will likely have to make a heartbreaking decision: Save the 7 kittens at the VA (the “Stokes 7”), OR save 25 cats at Duke University (the “Duke 25”.)

Taxpayer – the government isn’t done slaughtering kittens.
Another 25 cats’ lives are on the line! And the deadline to save them from TORTURE, FEAR, and DEATH is next Monday, July 31.
Taxpayer, first, it’s the Dept. of Veterans Affairs (VA). Now, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is following suit.
In less than five days, NIH may renew funding for Duke University’s sick ELECTRIC-SHOCK EXPERIMENTS.
If they get away with it, 25 more cats – the “Duke 25” – will die painfully on our tax dime!

Taxpayer, my research team just found this lab (and its looming funding deadline) on the NIH's website, and my stomach is in knots.
Unless we take immediate action, here’s what may happen to the “Duke 25” cats:
- TRACHEOTOMY: First, the white coats will puncture holes into the cat’s throat. She’ll no longer be able to breathe on her own, and will be hooked up to a respirator.
- PAINFUL SURGERY: Next, they will surgically implant electrodes into her small, feeble body.
- ELECTRIC SHOCKS: Then, the experimenters will send electric shocks to her internal organs. She will lose all control of her bowels.
- ABUSIVE NEGLIGENCE: Duke’s negligent white coats will likely "forget” to give her water. It wouldn’t be the first time they were caught depriving animals of basic care.
- NO SURVIVORS: If she doesn’t die from a botched surgery, negligence or abuse, the white coats will kill and dissect her anyway... it’s standard operating procedure.
- YOUR BILL: Over $6 MILLION to date – and in less than five days, they’re planning to take even MORE of your money.

Part of our money will be used to “train” the next generation of animal experimenters, who will learn to slice open innocent cats’ throats and bodies, implant them with electrodes that produce painful electrical shocks, and kill them.
You read that right.
These government white coats-in-training are TAUGHT to conduct PAINFUL EXPERIMENTS on helpless animals as part of a “mentorship” program at Duke University... and we’ve been paying for it for the last 10 years!
Duke University ENCOURAGES animal experiments, according to their own website! Now they want us to fund the training of the next generation of animal abusers disguised in white coats.
