There's something magical about seeing children discover the wonders of the animal world. And there's a reason cat videos and other animal photos and videos are our favorite internet content.

We have a special relationship with animals, but that relationship is going horribly awry. We're in the middle of an extinction crisis, and too many animals are endangered, at risk of disappearing from our Earth entirely.

Unlawful trafficking and poaching. Climate chaos. Eroding habitats. So many things have gone wrong.

The African elephant: in a disastrous poaching stretch between 2006 and 2015, more than 100,000 died.

The White Rhino in Kenya: they are doomed to extinction with only two females (and no males) left in their entire species.

The Orangutans in Borneo and Sumatra: displaced and threatened due to massive expansions of palm oil plantations.

There are so many more stories like these. If we don't do something, things are only going to get worse. That's why I've led the battles to take on trafficking and save some of the world's most iconic and endangered animals.

Stand with me as we take on these overlapping crises. Donate today.

Donald Trump denies climate chaos and his sons have gleefully posed for pictures with the defenseless animals they've slaughtered. Those are not the examples we need right now.
That's why I've introduced and passed legislation to fight wildlife trafficking, and why I'm always fighting to address the looming challenges of climate chaos.

Help me keep up the fight. Donate today.

It's up to us. Let's be the change on this critical issue. Let's look out for every creature that calls our planet home, and give our children and grandchildren a better tomorrow.

Onward.

Jeff
