Hi,
The health of humanity and all other living creatures hangs in the balance.
Like climate change, plastics affect every living creature on the planet as it enters our land, air, and water. We are ingesting and breathing plastic throughout our bodies — we are plastic, from the womb to the grave.1
That’s why EARTHDAY.ORG has chosen Planet vs. Plastics as the global theme for Earth Day 2024. We feel the theme represents the battle we are facing for human and planetary health. Planet vs. Plastics unites students, parents, businesses, governments, churches, unions, individuals, and NGOs in an unwavering commitment to the call for the end of plastics, demanding a 60% reduction in the production of plastics by 2040.
Read about the theme, and visit our Earth Day 2024 webpage to learn more and discover how you can spread the word of the Earth Day movement year-round. <[link removed]>
