Dear John,
Today is the last day of Disability Pride month, and I’m feeling a lot of pride for what we’ve been able to accomplish in the last few months.
But even with all our momentum, we’re also facing immense challenges. Congress is deadlocked when it comes to key care issues, and disability is often treated as an afterthought by our electeds. That’s not acceptable, and we need your help.
John, can you help supercharge our fight with a $20 donation right now? [[link removed]]

Disability Pride month brings with it multiple milestones to celebrate: the Americans with Disabilities Act was signed in July 1990, and Medicaid and Medicare were passed over 50 years ago this month.
At Caring Across Generations, we’re celebrating some milestones of our own.
* We saved Medicaid! In June, we protected this crucial care program from cuts that would have taken care from 21 MILLION people, disproportionately disabled people.
* Our care movement is growing. We brought more than 20,000 new people into the fold in the last few months. We’re building power so we can fight for a care system that better serves ALL of us.
We’re building a care movement for ALL of us – with disability justice at the center. It’s an uphill battle because our society centers able-bodied people, but I know we can create an inclusive care system if we rise up together. Support our care movement with a $20 donation today! [[link removed]]
Our fight continues, and we won’t stop until we have the care system we deserve. Your donation – no matter how much – can put more power behind that effort.
