I just got a message from Chair Nikema Williams asking for an update on how our fundraising is going for our voter protection program.

This is a HUGE priority for our Chair. Our voter protection program has always been the best in the country, helping protect the right to vote for tens of thousands of Georgians. But the Georgia GOP has started to ramp up their voter suppression tactics ahead of the 2024 election, and we’re worried.

Our voter protection team is the best line of defense against GOP efforts to disenfranchise voters.

But right now, we don’t have a fully funded voter protection program.

Chair wants an update, and I want to give her some good news, but unless our team steps up in the next twelve hours, I’ll have to tell Chair Williams that we might not have a fully funded program.

Can I count on you to step up right now and pitch in $5, $10, or whatever you can afford to help us fund our voter protection program? Every cent that we get today goes directly toward funding our critical voter protection work.
