Soured: Last week, Heritage’s Oversight Project filed an 860-page amicus brief with U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika urging her to call off the plea deal with Hunter Biden because of concerning facts that had come to light. On Wednesday, the “sweetheart” deal fell apart after Noreika raised serious concerns.

• “We’re thrilled her reasoning tracked with the arguments we laid out in our brief to the court. … Hunter Biden should stand trial and be held accountable for any criminal behavior he may have committed,” Oversight Project Director Mike Howell (pictured above) stated.
