Our supporters are at the heart of The Humane League’s mission. Together, we are repairing the broken food system through our collective work—an idea that is symbolized by our Mended Heart icon. That’s why we’re excited to announce our new Mended Heart Society, a community of supporters who contribute $500 or more annually to end the abuse of animals raised for food.

A Day of Action Against Del Taco

Del Taco claims to be “Proud as Del” about its food. Yet, we both know that there is nothing to be proud of when a company is serving abused chickens raised in inhumane factory farms. Now, more than ever, customers are demanding action.

Just a few weeks ago, The Humane League Changemakers showed up to demand Del Taco adopt the Better Chicken Commitment. From making calls to the company’s HQ to educating customers at Del Taco restaurants, our Changemakers relentlessly took action to hold this fast-food chain accountable for the suffering it causes.
