Ami was elected to Congress to work across the aisle and improve the lives of all of his constituents here in Sacramento County. Every day in office he strives to fulfill this promise.
But here’s the thing, John: Many of the Republicans in Congress who now hold a slim House majority don’t hold those values. Instead, they would rather use their majority to pass extremist and divisive policies to snatch away our freedoms.
This is a time of crisis and we cannot continue to have legislation aimed at doing nothing but sparking ire. We simply cannot afford to elect reckless politicians who don’t respect science or their constituents’ opinions in 2024.
