Can you give me a few minutes?

I've been busy in the Senate fighting for our shared values — like protecting our public lands and waters, expanding access to contraception, and more — and I am sure you have a lot going on, too.

But it's important to me to take the time to connect with supporters like you. So before I ask for any kind of donation, I want to share a bit more about why this work matters to me.

Growing up, my dad was a union lineman with the local utility company. My mom was a seamstress and an automobile tire factory worker.

I worked my way through college, where I helped build a carbon fiber solar-powered car, to earn a mechanical engineering degree. Then I started my career, working everywhere from the Air Force Research Laboratory at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque to a nonprofit that helped kids get outdoors, to the Albuquerque City Council and eventually the House and the Senate.

My work has always been rooted in building a better future for New Mexicans, and now, it's more important than ever that I stay in the Senate and help protect our Democratic Majority.

Now that I've shared a bit more about how I got here, will you help keep New Mexico and the Senate blue by chipping in toward my campaign's end-of-month goal? Any amount will go a long way.

Thanks for all you do,

Martin
