Yesterday Lois asked you to send an email to the committees slated with the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection bill (HB 4048) and the Born-Alive Infants Protection bill (SB 1523).

We believe that babies born alive during or after abortion procedures deserve protection.

We believe that leaving babies to die is never acceptable.

We believe that the State of Oregon has a duty to protect these human beings.

We also believe that Oregonians have a right to know where their elected officials stand on this issue.

Our goal is that every senator receives 1,500 to 2,000 emails asking them to support a vote on SB 1523, the Born Alive Infant Protection bill. Please act now, John!

We can't use our normal tool without being marked as spam. So here is the complete list which you can send by copy and pasting this list into a group email.

We need to get this accomplished in the next 24 hours. Tell all your pro-life friends!

Your email can be as long or as short as you please. Just make sure it includes a request to support a vote for SB 1523, see sample below, which you can also use:

"The CDC said that at least 143 babies were born alive and left to die during or following an abortion procedure between 2003 and 2014. Oregon has no law protecting these vulnerable human beings. The state has a duty to protect them. Please support a vote on SB 1523."

Because everyone deserves an advocate,

Lois Anderson

Executive Director

P.S. Some senators have been replying with misinformation meant to make advocates feel bad. Please ignore their parlor tricks.
