It’s been a little over a month since House Republicans abused their majority and censured me in a party-line vote.
But if you thought that was as far as their extremism would go, you would be sorely mistaken.
In the past month, Donald Trump has relentlessly attacked me on social media and in exclusive Fox News interviews.
The GOP is ramping up their threats against President Biden — with several members of House leadership calling for an impeachment vote.
And recent reports stated that Kevin McCarthy very well might have secured a backroom deal with Trump to expunge his impeachment in an effort to somehow sanitize his record — right on time for the next election.
John, it’s abundantly clear that MAGA Republicans are using their power to gain more power, to protect Trump, and to silence anyone holding them accountable — people like me.
Who knows what they will do next? There seems to be no limit to how far they’ll go to gain unchecked power.
