Dear John,

Next week the Senate will vote on Senator Lindsey Graham's (R-S.C.) Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (S. 3275). This vote follows a direct call from President Trump in his 2020 State of the Union address for Congress to ban late-term abortions!

Send an email now, calling on your senators to vote for this bill that will ban abortions once an unborn child can feel pain! Click the link below to get started.

Scientific evidence reveals that unborn babies can feel pain by 20 weeks post-fertilization and likely even earlier! By that point, unborn babies have all the anatomy in place to feel pain. Recognizing that unborn babies feel pain, it has become routine for doctors to administer pediatric anesthesia during fetal surgeries.

Sadly, 22 states allow abortion through all nine months of pregnancy, long past the point at which unborn children can feel pain. A late-term abortion is excruciatingly painful for the unborn child, be it via suction, dilation and curettage, dilation and extraction, or any other abortion method. Late-term abortion should not be allowed!

Banning late-term abortion has widespread bipartisan support. Polls show that 70 percent of Americans would restrict abortion to only the first three months of pregnancy, including 47 percent of those who identify as pro-choice. Over half of Americans (55 percent) support a ban on abortions performed after 20 weeks of pregnancy. The medical community has discovered that unborn children can feel pain, and the American people have agreed that it is cruel and unjust to perform late-term abortions on unborn children who can feel pain.

Congress needs to act and prohibit abortion after 20 weeks post-fertilization, and protect these unborn children from unnecessary pain and suffering.

Your senators need to hear from you! Email your senators and urge them to vote FOR the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection (S. 3275).

Thank you for your vital work in defense of innocent human life.

Sincerely,

Travis Weber
Vice President for Policy and Government Affairs
