I don’t know where else to turn, so I’m reaching out to you in a pinch.  

You’ve been there for me before, but I noticed you haven’t contributed yet this year.  

With a major fundraising deadline coming up on Monday, we are still short of reaching our budget needs by more than $3,000.  If we can’t make up this deficit, I’ll need to make some budget cuts that will, truthfully, be pretty painful. 

This may not seem like a lot of money to you, but it makes a huge difference to our campaign.
