Friends,

You’ve heard me say this before: Democrats don’t legislate for show, we legislate to get things done.

Well, when you look at the differences between the current Republican Congress and the last Democratic Congress, it’s clear who’s legislating for show and who’s not.

I wouldn’t say I’m a history expert, Friends , but it was my favorite class in school and a favorite subject today, and looking back I can tell you, Democrats’ ability to make progress for every American is one for the books!

I’m fighting every day to deliver for Connecticut and hard-working families across our country. I’d be grateful if you made a contribution to help me keep up the fight to keep CT-04 blue. [[link removed]]

With Congress on a break for August recess, I thought it’d be a good idea to take stock of House leadership for the first 6 months of 2021 for Democrats and in 2023 for Republicans.

Take a look:

That’s just the first 6-months.

Extreme MAGA Republicans are passing legislation that only helps themselves, and their special interest friends, instead of working in a bipartisan way to find solutions and make progress on behalf of every American.

History shows us that it’s Democrats get the job done. And it means that now more than ever, it’s important that we double town to flip the House blue in 2024. Are you with me? Chip in now! [[link removed]]

Thanks for reading.
