Team,

58 years ago, President Johnson signed the Medicare and Medicaid Act into law, solidifying our country's right to health care. Since then, Americans have shown unwavering determination when it comes to healthcare, and the Fairness Project has been at the forefront of expanding Medicaid state-by-state since our founding.

We've already achieved so much together. Because of our work, we’ve already won campaigns to expand Medicaid in 6 red and purple states, ensuring coverage to over 875,000 people in need. And we're just getting started. To celebrate today’s landmark, will you chip in and help us continue our fight to close the health care gap?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEDICAID 🎉

Medicaid has brought life-saving healthcare to over 80 million Americans since 1965, but this is only the beginning. This fight is far from over. Just this year, 11 states are losing ground on Medicaid access. It goes to show that we cannot let up until everyone has access to the affordable, quality health care we are all entitled to. And wherever the next battle is, the Fairness Project will be there.

Today, as we celebrate Medicaid's 58th birthday, we renew our commitment to keep fighting. We can make a real difference, friend, but only with your support.

Join us to honor Medicaid's birthday and support our crucial mission to expand life-saving health care. Your donation will make a tangible impact on thousands of lives.
