John,
In a moment, I'm going to tell you how our economy and our environment go hand in hand, but first, I need to ask: if you believe in a brighter future for every Washingtonian, will you contribute $10 right now to my critical July fundraising deadline.

Despite how it's often portrayed by politicians and pundits wanting to score political points, the economy and our environment aren't at odds with each other.
The work I've done as Washington's Commissioner of Public Lands is proof of how, when we work together to tackle our problems with proper planning and strategy, every Washingtonian benefits.
I know we can address our greatest environmental and economic challenges at the same time. I did it with the Washington State Department of Natural Resources by cleaning up our forests and using the dead wood to create sustainable timber, reforesting millions of acres, signing a lease for the biggest solar plant in our state's history, and more – creating jobs, putting more money in more families' pockets, and boosting local economies.
Now, I'm ready to create solutions as Washington's next Governor. Together, I know we can solve our community's greatest problems. By addressing our housing crisis and rising costs, protecting our land and water, and expanding healthcare access, we can deliver a brighter, more prosperous future for us all.
So, John, can I count on you to join me in working together to solve Washington's challenges by contributing $10 or whatever you can afford to my July fundraising deadline? With less than 48 hours, there's no time to spare.
