John,
It’s Daniel, Josh’s Campaign Manager. Our July fundraising deadline is tomorrow, so I just wanted to share a few reasons why fundraising is still so important for our campaign.

[1] This race is a toss-up. From the Cook Political Report to Sabato’s Crystal Ball, national experts have already rated our race a TOSS-UP, meaning it’s one of the most competitive in the country.
[2] Last year’s race was extremely close. After going through redistricting and facing millions of dollars in false attack ads, last year’s race was decided by a mere 1.6% margin. So, we’re getting to work now to ensure we can finish the job next year.
[3] Our Republican opponent, Marc Molinaro, has made his priorities clear, and he’s siding with special interests, not Upstate New Yorkers. Molinaro refused to act on climate change, even when wildfires were polluting New York’s air. Then he voted with Republicans to restrict abortion access to military service members and their families. He votes the way his Party Bosses want him to vote, not the way Upstate New Yorkers need him to vote.
[4] Molinaro has also shown us where his loyalties lie, and it’s not with the people of NY-19. He’s taken contributions from pharmaceutical companies, the NRA, and right-wing extremists like George Santos and Kevin McCarthy. His campaign only reported receiving contributions from 18 people in NY-19 in the last three months!
[5] Unlike Molinaro, our campaign is completely grassroots. We’re powered by thousands of small-dollar contributions from people like you – not corporate special interests.
John, we’re relying on folks like you to help us keep our fundraising on track. Can we count on you to make a contribution today to support our grassroots efforts?
