I’m not sure if you saw this, but in the midst of the impeachment trial, the conservative justices on the Supreme Court voted to allow Trump’s “Public Charge” rule to continue. In other words, they gave the green light to Trump’s racist attempt to close our borders to anyone who might, even temporarily, rely on government programs like Medicaid, SNAP, or Section 8 Housing.
Trump is doing his best to portray immigrants as freeloaders, when in reality his family members are the biggest freeloaders of all. I’m tired of the American people footing the bill for the Trumps' lavish lifestyle while they turn our backs on people who need help to survive.
