Calling All Volunteers!

The Union Communications Team has launched a campaign called “What Is Your Why?” Short videos from current volunteers like you that explain why you joined The Union will likely resonate with prospective volunteers and inspire them to volunteer with The Union too. Please consider submitting a short video explaining the moment you decided to join The Union and why, so we can share them on our website and via social media.

It’s fun and easy! Just create a short video (one minute or less), and then send your video* to [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]?subject=What%20is%20your%20why%3F) . You can view my example video ([link removed]) for ideas and/or inspiration.

Or, you can submit a written statement expressing “Your Why.” Maggie, a volunteer with The Union, wrote:

During the last 7 years, I’ve come to realize that political inactivity is no longer an option. The folks at The Union helped me realize my voice matters in safeguarding the rights I used to take for granted.

If you would like to participate another way, help us expand The Union community by liking and sharing The Union social media posts that resonate with you, and you can comment on the posts to provide encouragement to prospective members.
