If you’ve ever opened one of these emails, you’ve probably noticed that a lot of them contain a suggested donation amount of a pretty unusual amount: $17.77.

That’s not by accident, folks. We ask you to give $17.77 because that’s our average online donation.

I couldn’t be more proud of that fact. It says A LOT about the power of this grassroots team.

So many politicians run for office on the power of their own checkbook, or of the billionaires and lobbyists they cozy up to. Not me. I run on the power of Diane from Helena and Steve from Billings chipping in $10 or $25 because they know I will fight for Montana in the United States Senate.

I’m fighting for you too, whether you’ve pitched in before or not. Either way, you’re a valued member of this team.
